Los cuencos cantores son cuencos que se utilizan para promover la relajación. Producen sonidos y vibraciones cuando se golpean o se rodean con un mazo.
Se supone que esos sonidos y vibraciones te ayudarán a relajarte. Algunas personas dicen que también pueden ayudar:
- disminuir el dolor
- mejorar el sueño
- reducir la ira
- mejorar la presión arterial
- mejorar la frecuencia respiratoria
- reducir la depresión
- mejorar el bienestar general
La terapia de sonido en general es una práctica antigua. Los cuencos cantores se han utilizado en el Tíbet y áreas vecinas para ceremonias religiosas y espirituales, así como para la meditación.
Los cuencos cantores tradicionales están hechos de aleaciones metálicas, pero algunos cuencos cantores pueden estar hechos de cristal.
No hay mucha investigación sobre la efectividad, o los peligros, de la terapia de cuenco tibetano. Pero una pequeña cantidad de evidencia sugiere que puede ayudarlo a relajarse.
